Ski This is great!

NANTES, France (Reuters) – Close to 200 prisoners will cycle around France next month, watched by scores of guards on bicycles, in the first penal version of the Tour de France, authorities said Monday. The 196 prisoners will cycle in a pack and breakaway sprints will not be allowed. They will be accompanied by 124 guards and prison sports instructors. There will be no ranking, the idea being to foster values like teamwork and effort. "It's a kind of escape for us, a chance to break away from… Continue

Fed up with amphetamine based weight loss pills and educated on the dangers of ephedra weight loss people are searching for the next alternative that will be both healthy and effective. Sammy Selchow hoodia

Real Hoodia is hard to find, despite all of the advertisements you can see online. The fact of the matter is, and most unbiased sources agree, that there is not enough real Hoodia Gordonii on the entire planet to fill all of the orders being placed for it. So people selling it have found ways to fill in the gaps between supply and demand for real Hoodia in order to turn maximum profits. One of these methods i

ratfil The skip tooth ramble

Well, I just spent the last month and a half working, maybe more, at Precision Skateboards and every night at home building, fixing, and tweaking around 15 bikes. Most of them I've been selling on Craig's List(a few I'm keeping), I guess the old saying "I'm not in it for the money" certainly applies here, even though my intent was to make a few bucks, there are too many hours involved in building bikes all day long. How does Scott do it? Oh yeah, he went insane trying to do too much every day. I… Continue

Alecw35 Journeys to Glory

Ive got a tradition of doing certain bike rides on set days. I call these Glory rides. On Christmas day its a bike ride to town. Is 10 mile journey. Started doing this one about 15 years ago. Did it first on my BMX, called Lucy. Named that as when built up in a hurry, all the spokes in both wheels were loose. Handled weirdly. Anyway the last time I did that ride was 2 years ago. Cause it was raining the last time. One time I did it at night on my 3 speed BMX. The weather was supposed to be snow… Continue

Mr.B Greasy Morning!

My morning commute to UNL was a fun one today! Due to the freezing mist, there was a thin layer of ice on everything. I laid my bike on its side three times. Luckly no injuries to myself, I scratched the bike up a bit, but that just adds character. The bike trail was way worse then the streets, so I had to either ride on the warmed up streets, or ride on the grass next to the trail. I hope that everyone else had a safe morning! Continue

Alecw35 theives and hoodlums

Ive got a lot of bikes. Maybe too many

I have some in my back yard. I live in a quiet area.

So dont expect people to mess with my stuff.

But they did the other night. They took my Dirt Cross out. Stomped on its back wheel. Then left it at my front door. They also moved a good MTB, to get out a Emmelle suspension MTB. Thats a horrible bike. They left that at my door too. Dont think they actually took anything.

I had got home at 7pm. Noticed the bikes moved at 8.

We ride every week no matter what the weather. All rides started at Re-cycled (26th and South Street). Scott, the owner usually closes down shop around 4 PM on Sunday as people arrive. There is rarely a planned destination, but there is usually an idea being kicked around.

This is not a race, but of a fun bunch of people having a good time.
